Governor Scott Announces Ninth Class of Gubernatorial Fellows

TALLAHASSEE – Governor Rick Scott today announced the members of the ninth class of the Gubernatorial Fellows Program. Students participating in the program will gain first-hand experience in state government.

“I applaud these students for their outstanding academic, leadership and service-oriented accomplishments,” said Governor Scott. “This program will provide them with on-the-job leadership training for successful careers in the public or private sector.”

After a competitive application and interview process, students were selected based on their outstanding leadership skills, strong academic achievement, community activism, and their desire to serve the people of Florida. They will work in the Executive Office of the Governor or in the Governor’s agencies, depending on their interests and area of study.
